  25.         If you mean the "Output format filename" on the Record menu, Yeah it
  26. does.  That's the whole problem.  For the PAR you MUST have a file with a
  27. ".TGA" extention.  So when you clik on "Save RGB" and you select the PAR as
  28. your destination Drive.  You MUST put a ".TGA" at the end of your filename
  29. "Name.TGA" .  If you try just entering "NAME" it refuses it saying something
  30. like "cannont acces this file, check your security privledges on this
  31. network drive".  
  32.         So, When you enter your name with the extention "NAME.TGA" the PAR
  33. accepts it but then lightwave (depending on which output file format you
  34. choose" either starts naming your files "Name.tga001...) or
  35. "Name.tga001.tga"  either of which is not cool with the PAR.  For the first
  36. option the PAR  will accept the targas that lighwave sends it, but since the
  37. frame number is in the wrong place (should read "NAME001.tga) the PAR
  38. doesn't advance the frame and just writes the frames over each other so when
  39. you're done rendering you go to the PAR and see that your 30 frame animation
  40. only has 1 frame in the file.
  41.         If you try the other method, when LW sends the completed frame to
  42. the PAR, it denies access.
  43.          I talked to a nice guy at Newtek (I think his name was Greg).
  44. Unfortunately he wasn't sure what to do.  Apparently they don't have any PAR
  45. PC's to try this out on.  He said he'd get back to me.
